Data Collection

ADB Toggle does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The app operates entirely on-device. No analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs are included in the free tier. No data is sent to external servers by this app.

Permissions Used

      android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
    

Used solely to read and write Settings.Global.ADB_ENABLED — the system flag that controls USB debugging. This action happens locally on your device only. No data is read beyond this single integer value, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Why does this permission require ADB or Shizuku? WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS is a protected system permission that Android does not allow apps to request through the normal permission dialog. It must be granted manually via ADB (pm grant) or through Shizuku.

In-App Purchase

Premium features are sold as a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play Billing. Purchase and payment data is handled entirely by Google Play and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. ADB Toggle does not receive or store your payment information.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates Shizuku (optional) to grant permissions on your behalf. Shizuku runs locally on your device and does not transmit data externally. See the Shizuku project page for its own terms.

Children's Privacy

ADB Toggle is a developer utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy
